"Going Global Through English"

      Every month of October,we are celebrating that what we call "English Month Celebration" with the theme "Going Global Through English."

      When I was still in elementary,questions came to my mind,"What's the importance of the English language?Why do we need to learn how to use it?Is it really important for our daily lives? So,as I grew up,I realized and knew the importance of it.

      

      Though,we all have our own dialects we still need to learn how to use the English language because,not just only that it is the universal language but also because some of us do not understand the dialects of each other and by using the English language we will understand one another.And if you will travel around the globe,It is very important for us to know how to use or speak in English,specially if we don't know how to speak using their dialect so that we can communicate with each other.

     I hope I could learn more about the importance of the English language as I grew up older.

"My Simple Reflection"

     Another grading is going to past again.at this grading period I've learned many things such as what is the use of the "notepad" and how to use or what is the use of  the "HTML Tags" and also how to make a "HTML File."

     Honestly for me,this grading period was the busiest one.It was my first time to use the "notepad" but I did not encounter many problems in using it because our teacher had explained it well to us how to use it and I listen attentively while she is discussing and explaining how to do it.

     Moving on,I'll continue what I have started and I will study hard.

"The Modern Hero of Today's Generation"

Who are the one's that we call The Modern Hero?

     When I hear the word "hero",the first thing that usually comes in my mind is "What is a hero."So we can defined the word hero as a person, typically a man, who is admired for courage or noble qualities.

     Nowadays,all of us can be a hero in our own ways.There are many things or ways that we can do for us to show our heroism.And the persons or the ones that usually do this is our parents.

     Ever since the day that we are born in this world,the first persons that has the responsibility to raise us and make us good and productive citizens is our parents.Starting the day that we are still in the womb of our to the day that we was born,there are many sacrifices and hardships they had done for us to be born healthy and safe.Until now,though they are a little bit old,they are still there to serve as our guidance to support us in everything we do.

     So we should love and show respect to our parents.We will be also parents in the future if god permits,so we should show them what we want our children would show to us in our future.

       "A good teacher is like a candle, it consumes itself to light the way for others." This quote by an unknown author embodies every aspect of what teachers do for each of their students.

 

       Teachers had always been important to my life. I have known that teaching could be a career where you can influence the lives of others and how teachers could impact our everyday lives, our entire year, and our future.

      Teachers have the very important responsibility of shaping the lives of young, impressionable children. With this responsibility comes great pride and joy. Therefore all teachers should strive for what can be considered to be a “good teacher.” A good teacher can be defined as someone who always pushes students to want to do their best while at the same time trying to make learning interesting as well as creative. A positive or negative influence from a teacher early on in life can have a great effect on the life of a child.

      Some teachers are helpful and understanding, others are overly demanding and uncompromising. Teachers are supposed to help us learn certain subjects, but they often do more than that. They give us an idea of what the real world would be like. Good teachers do that consciously, while bad teachers do that involuntarily.However,I still salute all teachers for their sacrifices and hardships for us students.

      In the earlier times,Philippines is one of the best country in the world.It is not as bad as now,but as of the present,Philippines had become one of the poorest countries.Our country is now suffering from many problems,such as air pollution,global warming,acid rain and many more.

      In the recent years there has been a significant rise in people's concern for the environment. We all affect the natural environment, but we are often are unaware of how much we affect it. There is no part of the earth that does not remain affected by our actions. Our actions are now threatening the health of our planet, the land we live and work on, the water supply, the ozone layer, the animal species as well as the health of our species. With this it is easy to say "The problem is too great and what can we do now?" Well, we can first remember and believe that we can make a difference. We can start with making a commitment to do a few things to save our environment.

      Our earth is getting worse day by day is caused by a variety of environmental problems like global warming, air pollution, acid rain, and so on. It is not easy to solve the environmental problem because it needs contribution from all people around the world. We cannot always blame the government about environmental damage in this world. However, all of us have a responsible and have to recognize the importance of taking care of the environment. There are trivial things that we can do individually to save the environment. In making some small changes in the way we do in daily activities, such as economizing the use of electricity, reducing carbon dioxide, and managing waste, we can contribute to create a healthy environment.

      In solving these problems the first step that we should do is to know the causes of these problems.Second is,we should look for the solutions of these problems.And lastly,is having a "SELF-DISCIPLINE,UNITY and COOPERATION."

"Wika Natin ang Daang Matuwid"

"Wika Natin ang Daang Matuwid"

        We are again in the month of August and we all know that during this month we celebrate that what we call "Buwan ng Wika."It is a way to inform everybody of having our own language or dialect.This celebration also aims to wake up our minds,we young Filipino's,to love,respect,and use our own language.We should be also thankful and proud of having our own language or dialect because we cannot communicate to other people without it.

        Now,in our generation many people do not know yet how to speak using their true language because,for example,though he/she is born as a "Ilocano" but he/she don't know how to speak "Iloco" because maybe he/she grow in the other country or the kind/type of environment he/she have grown.Some do not use their own language because,they find that speaking in other language is better or more interesting.But for me,using my own language or dialect is much better and I will always be proud of my own language and I'm proud to be born as a Filipino citizen.The only thing that I can say is "Wika Nati'y Pahalagahan,Mabisang Sandata Tungo sa Maunlad na Bayan."

My Learning's

      MY LEARNING's

       There are many discoveries and learning's that I have gained or learned.Some of these is,I have come to know those different beautiful spots here in Vigan and also some of their histories,I have also come to know the importance of being healthy and having a healthy body and not a malnourished one and many more.

      There are some of the challenges and problems that I have encountered.Some of them are knowing the history of the different spots in Vigan because I was not yet born during those years and also knowing some of the importance's of having a healthy body,though we have that what we call "internet" there are many suggestions that the computer could give you and it's up to you if what would you choose on those suggestions.

      I addressed this challenges by facing or solving them bravely with my faith to God because,I believe that God is my Savior.

     Moving on...I will do some changes with the ways on how I make decisions and many more because,the learning's that I have learned had affected my ideas.
